Q. Is Paypal something a business should use? Is it safe?
A. I’ve been using Paypal since 2000 and it’s my primary means of paying companies and people over the internet. I accept business payments through Paypal as well. The thing I like about using Paypal is that I have all my transactions in one place. It’s been a breeze at tax time to find my business related purchases and tie payments back to invoices.
How you can use Paypal to build your business
- Receive credit card payments
- Invoice for reoccurring memberships
- Invoice for single items
- Send a payment request
- Accept payment by credit card, check or Paypal funds
- Send invoices from Quickbooks through Outlook with a link to Paypal
- Sell items on your website or shopping cart
- Enter credit card transactions directly into the Paypal website
- Sell software or ebooks using Paypal’s electronic delivery
- Reserve puppies with Paypal
There are folks who say Paypal is horrible and a waste of time. They’re right. There are people who tell you they clear several thousand dollars a month through Paypal and it’s great. They’re right too. It keeps it’s promise; Easily send and receive payments online. I even pay my auto insurance with Progressive.com through Paypal.
Think of it like this: Everyone who goes to the Minnesota State Fair won’t have fun.
